Utilization of diverse human resources
The Orion Group aims to cultivate an environment in which people with diverse experiences and perspectives can fully demonstrate their abilities in their respective positions, thus creating a flexible organization capable of responding to any eventuality. One target is to have women comprise at least 30% of the members of the Board of Directors by 2030. We are endeavoring to cultivate a flexible and resilient enterprise based on diverse perspectives.
ーMajor initiatives to dateー
In October 2021, an LGBTQ workshop was held at the head office of Orion Breweries. Some 65 employees participated in the training, which featured a lecturer with in-depth knowledge of LGBTQ issues, and learned about diversity in sexual orientation.
In order to create a workplace environment where women, regardless of their position, can experience fulfillment, be rewarded, and work with peace of mind, we held an in-house event on March 8, 2024, coinciding with International Women’s Day. The event featured presentations by three female managers and discussions among female employees.
