Inspired by our mission—“Proudly from Okinawa, Orion makes people, makes occasions, helps the world smile.”—we are committed to responsible marketing to prevent inappropriate drinking, such as under 20 drinking and excessive drinking. In April 2021, Orion Breweries became one of the first companies in Japan to label cans of alcoholic beverages with the number of grams of pure alcohol they contain. In cooperation with industry bodies such as the Brewers Association of Japan, which consists of five brewery companies, we are also involved in initiatives such as the “STOP! under 20 Drinking” Project to prevent the those under 20 years of age from drinking. We require that advertising of our alcoholic beverages bears the “STOP! under 20 Drinking” mark.
