Consideration for social and environmental issues

In 2019, we eliminated products with 9% alcohol content from the Orion WATTA chuhai brand series in light of issues related to responsible drinking in Okinawa. 
Moreover, under the Orion WATTA brand in 2021 we commercialized a chuhai whose raw materials include fruits grown in Okinawa that do not conform to standard specifications and cannot be shipped and would otherwise be disposed of. This chuhai was well received and re-released in 2022.
