Use of water resources

Policy on reduction of water consumption

Water, the most important raw material for the Orion Group’s products and services, is a valuable asset in high demand worldwide. Since Okinawa is an archipelago composed of relatively small islands, its water resources are less than those of most other regions of Japan (*1), and moreover, precipitation has been fluctuating in recent years as a consequence of climate change. Therefore, we believe it is essential to reduce the use of water resources and strive for conservation.
In order to conserve precious water resources, the Orion Group is committed to reducing water consumption, promoting water reuse, and minimizing the environmental impact of wastewater discharge.
